Statement in Response to Arizona Supreme Court Ruling Banning Abortion

The decision by Arizona’s Supreme Court to uphold a 19th century abortion ban in the state is horrifying and infuriating.

There’s one person to whom most of the blame belongs: disgraced former president Donald Trump. We are hopeful that the people of Arizona will enshrine reproductive freedom in the state Constitution this fall and that they will again reject the twice impeached malevolent buffoon seeking to return to the office he so besmirched once before.
