Monica Tranel represented the United States as a rower in two Olympics and won a gold medal at the World Championships. Since then, she’s been a successful lawyer known for standing up against powerful corporations and corrupt politicians.
Now she’s running against Ryan Zinke. She’ll bring that same dedication to representing the people of Montana that she did to becoming a world class rower. She says:
“I’m a mom, a two-time Olympian, world champion rower, and successful lawyer. All of that is possible because I had the ability and the chance to choose whether and when to become that mom. When I’m in Congress, I’ll work to ensure that girls and women around the world have that same choice by fighting to expand reproductive freedom and supporting investments in international family planning programs.”
Ryan Zinke has spent his political career voting to deny people everywhere their fundamental reproductive freedom.
Monica Tranel understands that promoting reproductive freedom, expanding access to care, and ensuring that everyone has the power to decide their own futures is the key to a healthier future for all of us. She’ll make an excellent member of Congress, and we’re proud to endorse her.
